The New Relationship Trust (NRT) is an independent non-profit organization dedicated to strengthening First Nations in BC through capacity building. They contracted Hiilite for a new website and graphic design for various materials including their annual report. This was their 10th anniversary so they were looking to take their materials to the next level. In the past, the report looked simple and did not convey the value that NRT was bringing to everyone connected to the organization.
When it came to the task of elevating the perceived value of the report and their brand overall, we knew we had to start with imagery. Our design team started to play around with various images and designs that hinted to the pristine and diverse environment and traditions that surrounded NRT. We kept in close contact with the client and let natural elements guide our instincts.
The end result was a direct reflection of the amazing individuals that make NRT the success that it is. With heavy, textured paper, this annual report demands attention and respect. The visuals allow the reader to expand their mindset and imagine larger possibilities- oh and the shareholders loved it too.
